SYNOPSIS: Tess Graver returned home hoping for some peace and relaxation. Her uncle's injury gave her the perfect excuse to leave a job that had turned to sheer misery after she was suspected of theft. Now, a dead body has turned up and Tess is the one to find her. Unfortunately, it also appears Tess is being stalked. Can former DEA agent, Ethan Rogers, overcome his past memories to help Tess stay safe?
MY THOUGHTS: This was a quick read and exactly what I was in the mood for. Isn't it great when a book hits the perfect spot for you?
Ginny Aiken touches on some very dark issues in DANGER IN A SMALL TOWN. Drugs, particularly meth, are a dangerous and harsh reality. Even small towns are now threatened by the meth industry. Tess and Ethan will see the dark underbelly of this otherwise quiet and peaceful, even quite ordinary, little town.
DANGER IN A SMALL TOWN shows a woman who relies on her faith through both good and bad times. There is at least one very tense but deeply thought provoking moment between Tess and Ethan regarding faith and not wallowing in the past. Great read!
