THERE ARE MORE THINGS IN HEAVEN AND EARTH...
To anthropologist Zeke Kendall, the idea that the heir to the fairy throne had been watching him, falling in love with him, for years, was laughable. Then he met Nuala and lost his heart to her dangerous beauty.
Eldest daughter of the Fairy Queen, Nuala must marry among her own kind to keep the line pure, but her heart has long been possessed by the handsome mortal. Now she will do anything--even align herself with humankind against the terrifying power of her own people--to make him hers.

I've had this book in my tbr since it came out...but never felt compelled to read it after all the negative reviews at the time. Due to Mary's positive review recently, i pulled it out, read the back cover, then read the first page to get the feel of the story and decided to keep going.
While this story didn't wow me, i did find it interesting and really came to like several of the characters. The last half of the story was much harder to put down for me. I look forward to purchasing and reading the rest of this trilogy.

Hey Kathy - I read this and enjoyed it (early in 2007?)
but Nocturnes don't seem to grab me when I read the blurb so I haven't bought that many, I think I got this and another on an introductory special offer, but despite everyone raving about them they're just not calling my name
I did enjoy this one all the same

I wish I had strted reading Nocturnes from the beginning because so man of the new ones are unread. I love them but then the every other month shipping messed me up. I wsw getting mine so much later than other people. I finally canceled my subscription so I could order them online aqnd get them faster. I am stil lbehind but I hope this might help some.

Ah, so you have read and
Ah, so you have read and enjoyed this line before. I couldn't remember for sure. I had the same problem with my subscription always being waaaay late, that i cancelled mine as well, in lou of ordering them much faster(and cheaper) myself. I'm behind as well, but i'm coming to think of that as my middle name when it comes to books.
