They called it The Inferno-the all-consuming desire that scorched a man just once in a lifetime. Millionaire Marco Dante felt its flames the moment he set eyes on Caitlyn Vaughn. Nothing could keep him from having her-not even her engagement to his twin brother! So he posed as her true fiancé, stealing her away for a rushed wedding and a breathtaking honeymoon. But then he had to face his new bride when she discovered his masquerade-and somehow find a way to turn her blazing fury back into white-hot passion....
The second book in the intriguing Dantes' Inferno series. As always Day Leclaire writes a wonderfully sensual story. But personally I had problems with 'inferno' motivation for some of Marco's behaviour and the way it was worked through. The Dante family are exciting and fascinating but I found this was more their story than Marco's and Caitlyn's. The first book, Severo's story was more rounded and focused.

Marco's character was a
Marco's character was a little too defined solely by his belief in The Inferno, and I didn't see much of the man's life beyond his love for the heroine. I didn't see him as a well-balanced man like Severo (in his story, Severo had family honour, financial drive, and business goals as well as love to motivate him). Marco kind of dumped everything else going on in his life in an effort to win the heroine over, so I'm not sure how their relationship will settle into day-to-day routine once the honeymoon/courting slows down and he's won her!
