The Darkest Kiss

Dark secrets. Dangerous seduction. It all begins with a kiss...

Blurb:

Gorgeous, stiletto-wearing Riley Jenson hunts evil-doers—and does it with vamp blood coursing through her veins, and a werewolf’s uncanny instinct for danger. Her latest case is to hunt down a killer of high-society strumpets—and the rich and powerful men they’ve dated.

But for Riley, the case takes a chilling turn when a second murderer starts trailing mutilated bodies of his own. Riley knows she’s got the skill and cunning to catch two deranged serial killers at once—until one of them strikes inside her own tight-knit clan. Now, a sexy beast of a vampire has re-entered her life to aid in the hunt…and drive her crazy. His name is Quinn, and he’s the only man over whom Riley has absolutely no control.

My thoughts:

Another winner from Keri Arthur. But of course I didn’t expect anything less. It seems to me that this series just gets better and better and more exciting. Riley Jenson sure has come a long way from the wild and promiscuous werewolf we first got to know in the first few books. This book like all her others was full of action and nail biting situations. Including some emotional situations that had me not wanting to put it down. We also get a revisit from Quinn once again and lets just say he isn’t as unappealing as he was the last time we saw him. Riley is sure starting to grow into her roll as a guardian and is one bad werewolf! She is still one of my favorite heroines of all time!

What you see is what you get out of me you dont like it I dont like you.

Mine too!

Riley Jenson is one of my favorites of all time too!!  She really has shown quiet a lot of growth, but remains fun.  This installment was way more emotional than the previous books.  I can't wait to get the next book!

I've liked her books

I've liked her books from the first one I read and enjoyed each one after. I was a bit concerned about the third book but she didn't go too far and the last couple have been delving into more of Riley's personal emotions. Glad you've enjoyed them too.
