Death Angel

Drea Rousseau's mob boss lover is forced to give her to his assisin for four hours. She's always played the dumb blonde that has no real interests beyond looking good and pleasing Rafeal Salinas. She is terrified of the assisin, but is also strangely attracted to him. When she begs him to take her with him he turns her down. Devastated she leaves Salinas. Will the mob boss let her go unscathed when he learns what she has done. Will he send the assisin? Will they be able to start anew or destroy one another?

I can honestly say I've never read a romance were the heroine is the mistress of the mob boss and the hero is the assisn. This works though and I LOVED IT. The descriptions are rich like a tapestry. The characters are multi-dimensional and grow as each page turns.

I would agree this book is unlike any I have read before.  LH is amazing in the way that she writes.
