This series has been very entertaining! A great mix of suspense and humor!
In this installment of the Dead-End-Job mysteries, Helen Hawthorn is a telemarketer, selling septic tank cleaners! If she sells enough during her first shift of the split shift day, then than evening, she can go upstairs and do surveys instead of selling. But durning on phone survey to the house of Henry Asorth, she is the one that gets an earful when she overhears and argument followed by a scream- and then dead air. Helen searches the computer database to learn more about Asporth and the much younger women he allegedly lived with... before she disappeared. Soon Helen is over her head, chasing clues and trying to avoid a close call... with a killer!
