Alson Reynolds (Ali) gets bounced out of her TV news broadcasting career by executives who want a "younger face,' right before her husband leaves her for a younger woman he's having a "love child" with. She goes home to her parents to find a childhood friend has been diagnosed with ALS is dead. Murdered?
Ali can't believe her friend would commit suicide and of begins to investigate her friend's death, suspecting murder. She's getting death threats on her blog.
This is the first book of the series and the second Ali Reynolds book I've read and while I can recommend it as not being offensive to Christian readers, it's also kind of blah. Although I liked many of the characters, including Ali...I have to admit Ali's not that interesting.
