I read this book in May while on vacation at the beach. However, when I arrived home my internet decided to die. Once it was finally fixed my hard drive crashed. So, now that I am up and running again, I have to play catch up with my book reviews.
Brenda Jackson has become one of my favorite authors through her Westmoreland family series. So I love the fact that they are reprinting some of her Madaris family series through the Kimani Press Arabesque line. I really enjoyed being kept on my toes until the very end about the identity of Syneda's biological father. The person I thought her father was turned out not be Syneda’s father.
