I thought this was a powerful start to a new series by S.J. Day. I love the world she's created and can't wait to get the next book. I think it's already out now. Evangeline Hollis is a great heroine and I just love the new twist on the brothers Cain and Abel. Yes, they are still fighting in this book but they must work together to help Eve with her new "Marked" powers. Cain and Abel are both equally sexy and Eve is drawn to both of them. She just wants to get her life back to normal but it seems impossible now that she bears the mark of Cain. Now, she is expected to kill demons if they don't kill her first.
