Kristen Lewis and Nathan Boyd meet in a bar in Singapore. Both of them go against their grain and have a one night stand. Later back in Austrailia, Kristen finds out that Nathan is her new boss. The chemistry between them is still explosive but Nate tries to deny it. He pushes her hard at work and when she falls ill with a bug realizes what a bear he is being. Only she isn't ill, she's pregnant and the baby is his.
This is a book full of emotions between boss and employee and man and woman. The man, who lost his first wife is now committed to his job and wants no personal ties. The career orientated woman wants to be at the top of her field. It is a very compelling story.
