Falling For The Deputy SR 1495

Mack Whittaker is a Deputy of a small town. The people of the town respect his privacy. He does his job and that's it. With the sheriff out of town he's in charge. He was told to cooperate with a reporter who is doing a piece on the revamped department. This story is Chloe Atherton's chance to get out of doing weddings and other fluff pieces. She follows Mack around and finds there is more to Mack than he shows. They both have secrets that keep them from fulling lives.

I really enjoyed this story. Mack is a recovering alcoholic who is suffering from survivors guilt and so is Chloe. I like how these two people healed each other.
