All is not well at Our Lady of Hope Monastery in Bernalillo, New Mexico. It seems as though the sisters have an enemy. First it's trouble with the computer as they manage the website of NexCen company. Then a car deliberately crashes into their gate, ruining it. Not having the money to repair the gate, it seems like a Godsend when John Gutierrez, the man who bought the winery next door, wants to hire Sister Agatha to find his niece. Since Gutierrez is planning to sell out to a developer, he holds out as additional bait a wide buffer zone between the monastery and the proposed three-story condominiums. But all is not as it seems, and Sister Agatha has her work cut out for her!
This is an excellent entry into the Sister Agatha series of Aimee and David Thurlo. (Aimee, as you may know, is a Harlequin author, too!) I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to New Mexico, and hope they'll write more set in the monastery!
