Family Ties

After Dillon was shot at their wedding, Ashley felt at fault for what happened because her past had caught up with her, but Dillon could not forgive her either and after months of trying she did what she knew to do and ran from him.

Three years later a chance visitor took a picture of Ashley and her son and Dillon realized that he had a son.  So he immediately found Ashley to claim his son.  He soon realized that he could not take his son away because Ashley loved him.  So he decided to compromise, but she was having none of it.

Then Ashley was attacked in her apartment and decided to give Dillon his son for a while, while she took care of some business.  But Dillon convinced her to move to the ranch to ease the way for their son to accept him and the family.  It was like coming home to Ashley and the feelings and welcome she got were like old.

Despite the problems the old feelings they shared began to come alive again.  But Ashley felt she must leave to take care of the man who was threatening all of their lives.  Then Dillon give her an ultimatum, stay and fight with him or go and never come back.  How can she go now?

This book was really enjoyable.
