Fannin's Flame by Tina Leonard, A Romance, #1018, May 2004 (book 5- Cowboys by the Dozen)

book coverFannin Jefferson wanted something different in the women that he dated. Fannin wanted a date with a woman that was not all about the sex but substance too. So Fannin emails an employment agency that was branching out into matchmaking stating his requirements in a woman without trying to make it sound like a personal ad. It was Kelly Stone who read his email. Fannin doesn't know Kelly's mother works as the housekeeper for the Jefferson boys at Malfunction Junction. So sleeping with Kelly just added an extra complication to their lives, especially with the boys discussing a plan to get rid of the housekeeper that Fannin had to run by the oldest Jefferson. Kelly was the opposite of a petite, cheery blonde Fannin ordered. But the more Fannin got to know her, the more he thought she was perfect for him. But she wanted to go to Ireland and find Mr. Right, whereas Fannin knew his job and home would always be the ranch.

This was a light read, not much in the way of intensity. Kelly was feisty and didn't let Fannin or the brothers walk all over her. I thought these two made a great couple. A wide variety of characters made this book fun to read. I also liked that things were being set for future books.

Mason. I know I read him last year(or the year before and not among the Cowboys by the Dozen books this week)but it was probably because I read about him the longest. But it took Mimi marrying someone else for him to realize he had feelings for her. And he had some great lightening bolt moments,
