Ben Mulholland desperately is trying to find a bone marrow donor for his daughter. He thinks he has a twin who was taken at birth and goes and hires Caroline, who works at Finders Keepers, to help look for his long lost twin. Ben and Caroline's past catch up to them, and can they start a relationship from where they are now, and move past all the problems.
This is a wonderful story about family, and helps to get you to stop and think about the things that really are important in life. I would highly recommend the story.
If a remember correctly....
If I remember correctly, Caroline gave up Ben because she couldn't have children and knew that he wanted a child of his own. Quite frankly, that turned me off. There are many people who can't have children -- they either agree not to have any, or adopt.
For her to give up on the man she loves and tell him the truth and let him decide for himself what he wants was a huge "no-no" for me.
The book itself was good -- but, I couldn't get past this.
