FEARLESS by Diana Palmer HQN
The Long, Tall Texan series has been around for years and in the past few years the small town of Jacobsville seems to have become a favorite place for drug traffickers and hoodlums.
It’s certainly lucky that all these ex mercenary, military types have taken up residence in the area. The latest escapade of the drug cartel has moved to a secondary town in Jacobs county, the town of Comanche Wells. An undercover DEA agent has infiltrated the group and is working to bring the leader to justice. At the same time the leader is out of jail and has threatened the life of the assistant DA. Both the DEA agent and the attorney end up undercover on an organic vegetable and fruit farm. While working at cross purposes and telling only half truths the two become involved and marry.
Can a marriage based on no truth stand the test of time or is this just one more disaster headed in their direction?
Overall, I enjoyed Rodrigo and Gloryanne’s story. Gloryanne was the typical DP h, with a little more backbone, but Rodrigo while intriguing in several of her previous novels, should a lot less of the traits of intrigue and just was flat out cruel at times. Also, more new characters were introduced and now will have to be added to the long list of H/h’s awaiting their own story.

I don't have this one. I'm surprised because I have 11 in my TBR.
Christa: since you have 10 in your TBR, we'll be even as of next week unless you read 1... :-)
Nice review, Kate! :-)
