Fearless Fourteen

I always look forward to the next Stephanie Plum installment. I know I'll be glued to the book until I turn the last page, laughing out loud periodically. (Do not read in public unless you're prepared for the funny looks this will get you.) Fearless Fourteen does not disappoint!

I thought it was interesting that Stephanie had her act together more in this book, and there was some flurry about Amazon reviews and reader reaction before it released. Maybe some long-time fans of the series didn't like the way she relied less on luck and the men in her life and more on thinking up solutions, but to me it's a natural progression. Stephanie has been slowly but surely getting better at what she does. She is still incapable of picking up chicken for dinner without getting into trouble, but I was struck by the way she worked things out in this book and that Morelli showed more support for letting her do what she needed to do.

I loved the progression of Lula and Tank's romance and am dying to find out what'll happen next. I will be happily anticipating #15!

I read this

I read this too fast. I loved the laughs even if we didn't get as much from Gramma Mazur except her new gaming get-up. Lula steamrolling Tank was great and can't wait to see how he gets out of it. Loved the part where he fainted. You're right Morelli was more supportive in this one. Glad you enjoyed it too, can't wait for the next one.

Tank fainting was priceless.
