Feels Like Family by Sherryl Woods-MIRA-April 2007

Aunt Cheryl
Format: Print Books
Series: MIRA Books

#54-Helen Decatur,a tough divorce lawyer, and only single member of the Sweet Magnolias trio, now realizes that at 42 alot of life has passed her by. Now she has the strong biological urge to become a mother, but so far has managed to chase any interested males away.

Helen decides to put her plan into motion, and Erik Whitney, pastry chef at Sullivan's just happens to be the target. There are some very unexpected detours to her goal, such as her taking in 2 youngsters while their mother recovers from an emotional meltdown. Also,a bitter divorce case infuriates the husband, who plots revenge against the ones who he feels did him wrong. This adds to Helen's life, but also makes it possible to enlist Erik as her guardian.

Erik said it best ,"...We might have taken a few detours and backroads, but it feels to me as if we're meant to be a family." If you haven't read this one yet,it should be added to your list. This was a wonderful series, but I really hated for it to end,you are just made to feel like one of Serenity's residents and friends to the group involved.

I have this series in my TBR

I have got to stop buying books. I had visited Sherryl Woods web site and there will be another Sweet Magnolia coming in November.

RE: FEELS LIKE FAMILY

I haven't read the book, it's not in my TBR pile, and to the best of my knowledge, I've never read anything by Sherryl Woods.  That being said, the book sounds smashing and like it would be be a great rip to read.   You've convinced me, Aunt Cheryl! Laughing
