This book finds Piscary being released from prison, Rachel dodging Al and in posession of an artifact that seems to be on the brink of starting world war three. Lots of intrigue in the ongoing relationship with Ivy, the vampire.
For every situation that KH clears up, she creates another that is more intense and riveting. Snappy wit and great comebacks. Great writing all the way through.
I enjoyed it even more the second time.
