Fire Study by Maria Snyder

Format: Print Books
Series: MIRA

The final book to the Study series continues the path of excellence started by the first book.  In this one, Yelena is looking for Ferde, the Soul Stealer, and ends up finding a whole heap of trouble.  Unfortunately, she has to move beyond her ring of friends and find the answer in herself, but can she do that and if she does, will she be able to live to see her future?  Excellent book, I still worry about her HEA and hope we get to see her in Opal’s stories.  I also have high hopes for seeing many of the rest of our friends – Leif, Dax and the others.  Highly recommend this story. Totals – 82-58 Harlequin, 17 Non-Harlequin, 7 audio, 3 re-read TBR Challenge – 14 out of 75 TBR2 Challenge – Books Acquired – 49 books, 48 books read, 27 library books (75 total print) NFM

TBR--The Born Readers

I have to get to this book. It's on my first tier TBR but I am so far behind just on that one shelf! Thanks for the tip about her new series too. I have been a bit oblivious to things lately and did not even realize.

Loved this book! And can't

Loved this book! And can't wait for Opal's story. I hope we get to see more of our friends and find out how Yelena's life is going, too.

Merri - You should put it

Merri - You should put it up in your TBR.  It is an excellent book.

Tracey - I am hoping we see more of at least Leif, since he seemed intrigued in Opal's sister.

Opal's story

I loved this trilogy also and look forward to Opal's story and hopefully  seeing some of our favorite characters again.

This was great and

This was great and you can bet I won't be putting off any of her books from now on. It took me forever to start em but once started I couldn't stop.

I was a bit hesitant to

I was a bit hesitant to try this one as I didn't think I was in the mood for a serious story and while, it may have been true that I would have enjoyed it even more in another mood, the book was good enough that it grabbed me and wouldn't let go until I was finished.

Glad to hear everyone else enjoyed it so much too.
