Into The Fire by Suzanne Brockmann Ballantine 07/08 Unabridged Audio

I need to think about this one a bit more before I write my review. Nonstop action and there were stories within stories that I don't know yet what to write. This was awesome and so much action from SEAL Team Sixteen and Troubleshooters. WOW and more to come.

I've enjoyed all her books but this one was great and more on the lines of her earlier books with so much going on. You have to read it, it's awesome!!!! Suzanne's writing just gets better and better. Gilman's (Gilligan) little sister comes to town after being dumped by her boyfriend. She's left without her purse or clothes and makes it to the hangout of the team. Izzy takes her home with him trying to get in touch with her brother. Then the fun begins or trouble as the case may be, she's seventeen (almost eighteen) and pregnant too. So much interaction with the whole group, it's great.

Oh good....

I'm looking forward to this one!  My copy should be in the mail soon.....

You're really

going to like this one it's a real page turner.

I love this series. Sounds

I love this series. Sounds like i have another great read to look forward to. Also to add to my wishlist so i don't forget it.

I recently bought Force Of Nature at Costco.

Force of Nature

is good too but this one just had so much in it.

Hey Deb!

I have this one on its way to me, I won it in a contest, woohoo!!  I havent read any of Brockmann's books yet, but I was curious, does this one stand alone well?  Or should I hunt up the rest of the series before I read it?

There's a lot

in the series you can read it as a stand alone but you might not know all the characters but it will still be good. I say go ahead and read it then you can go back and get her others. She's very addicting. How cool that you won this in a contest. She's one of my favorite authors and I read hers as soon as I can. She's great and lots of action. Let me know when you read it and I'll be looking to see what you think.

Hey Deb!

I am embarrased to admit I was mistaken.  I just looked again, and the book I won was actually Embraced by Love, a 1995 book by Brockmann.  (I should have had my cup of coffee yesterday before postingEmbarassed)I guess I was thinking Into the Fire, since I have been seeing it everywhere on sale. At least I got the author rightTongue out

Have you read that one by any chance?

Anyways, I have a few others by her in my TBR, I think maybe part of her Tall, Dark and Dangerous series.  But still havent actually read a book by her.

Take Care,

Tammy

P.S. Have yu ever read any young adult/children books by Lloyd Alexander? My son just finished up a series by him, and absolutely loved them.

Embraced by Love

is one of her older ones re-issued and while good it's not one of the better ones. I love her Tall, Dark and Dangerous Series. They are fabulous and I really wish she could write more in that series. I haven't heard of the YA author you mentioned. I will have to check him out. I'm sure I'd like him too if your son loved him. Thanks, like I really need reading material but I'd hate to miss out on good books.

Heehee!

Yeah, we all need more reading material, right?Tongue out

Lloyd Aexander actually passed away last year, and the series my son read was written from 1964-1970. There are also a couple of other series and stand-alones we intend to try and pick up, since my son enjoyed the books so much.

I guess I better go downstairs and get some of the TD&D books out of my library and bring them upstairs. They sound fantastic!

I hope you are having a great summer break! Smile

I'm going to

have to look up the name cause I find it hard to believe I've missed some good books that are not from a new author. Must research this.
