Dr. Nate McCormick has come to San Francisco to begin a new life with his girl friend Brooke. He left behind his job with the CDC hoping to leave death and medicine behind. But he is pulled into a murder of an old firend who he had not seen for 10 years until right before the man was murdered.
Nate goes after the murder, but brings harm to Brooke because of his pursuit and also to himself, but he just can't give up until he solves this murder.
