Here's an edgy story with a strong romance. Heroine Amanda Nelson makes a living as an exotic dancer but doesn' t let the seamy side of the life spill into her personal time. Until compelling new bartender Rick Calloway asks her to teach his girlfriend to strip. Suddenly Amanda is fighting her feelings for a man she thinks is taken, even as she begins to notice odd things around the club--and odd disappearances of former dancers. A compelling romantic conflict and intriguing suspense thread make this one hot, sexy, onfire read!
Marilyn Pappano is a longtime favorite of mine, mainly because she does create such strong romantic conflicts that set her books on fire from start to finish. She gets what makes romance work, and the suspense she includes feels real and intriguing. Hope others will/have enjoyed this one!
