Force of Nature

Force of Nature is a book to be reckoned with.

It has ex-cop Ric Alvarado and his employee sexy Annie Dugan going undercover to investigate crime boss Gordon Burns.

Then FBI agent Jules Cassidy (the sexiest gay character I have ever read!) arrives on the scene and must work with Ric and Annie.

Robin Chadwick, an in-the-closet-confused-about-who-he-is-alcoholic actor, arrives in town to shoot a movie.  He and Jules met a few books back and were attracted to each other, but Jules would not devalue himself by becoming involved with the mess that was Robin.  No matter how attracted they were to each other.

This is nominally Ric and Annie's book, but it was the developing relationship between Jules and Robin that touched me.

It may be difficult for some people to watch Jules and Robin's story develop from the embryo that began several books back.  It is a rough road for them, but it is a ride you should not miss.  It is a tough, tender, gritty love story.

And it will leave you hoping for a HEA.

Love Suzanne's books

Love Suzanne's books with all the action and the tender love and emotions she puts into every one. I've even read most of her early books too. Looks like we like the same kind of books.
