This was my first book by her and I have one other in my tbr pile. I found it an emotional read and I enjoyed the author’s voice. This is about Ally and Finn. Ally met and married Finn in a whirlwind courtship. Ally then returned to Denmark with Finn and that is when everything changed. The honeymoon was over. Finn’s focus was all business and with everything that was happening she didn’t feel she could be a part of Finn’s life. So she left him and returned to Sydney. But she returned with a secret. She knew Finn didn’t want children so she felt it was best to get on with her life and raise her baby on her own without telling Finn she was pregnant. The story starts two months after she has leaves Finn when Ally is awakened in the middle of the night by a phone call from Finn. But Ally is disappointed to find that he is not there for her but because needs her help in a business matter. Things are also complicated by the fact that Finn has been in a car accident and has lost his memory of her. That part was a bit sad. Ally is still so in love with her husband and Finn is starting to realize that she is important to him even if he can’t remember their past.
From the back:
A tragic accident had erased pieces of billionaire Finn Sorensen’s memory. Including all recollection of his wife. But what wife? The one he’d been told had married him for his money? The one who now owned a controlling share of his family’s jewelry empire?
Ally McKnight’s image was burned into Finn’s memory from photographs – pictures that captured the passion between them. It was time she received a surprise visit from her long-lost husband. The one who wouldn’t let her forget just what she owed him.

This was a good read but....
This was a good read but I didn't care for the "old" Finn too much. As soon Ally left, he found himself someone else (they weren't divorced).
What I did like was that the "new" Finn was so much better. He himself didn't like what he saw of himself in the past.
I didn't GET the old Finn
I didn't GET the old Finn either and I am not forgiving of the fact that he found someone else so fast and replaced the heroine. It hurt my enjoyment of the book and made me just think "WHY" the whole time.
Here's my review:

My Review:
They were married and fought because he overworked, she left him. She was pregnant and didn't tell him. Two and a half months later, the hero comes to find her because he has amnesia and needs to jog his memory. He thinks she can help him because he has had flashbacks around items of hers. She reluctantly helps him. I liked the passion that binds them together. I liked how every time he looked at her he thought "my woman". About the end: (spoilers) he doesn't quite remember everything, but he remembers his feelings for her and their marriage. I didn't quite enjoy the ending, it left me feeling a bit sad, the hero didn't remember everything about them breaking up and I would fear that because he doesn't know how he felt when they split, and why he let her go, he might end up feeling that way in the future. He's not making a fully informed decision that she is the one for him. I also got a niggling bad feeling about the fact that, from the timeline of events in this story, the hero had a new girlfriend within 2 weeks of the heroine leaving him. They were married: why didn't he try to hang on to her? Why did he have to move on immediately? It's too soon after their last "fight" and it feels like hurtful infidelity/adultery even if the heroine didn't have recriminations. About the cover: the heroine was cute and I liked her hair/eyes/dress, but the hero's shoulders were too giant for his body and his head looked too small in comparison, also his eyes were vacant.
My Rating: 3/5 stars, good story, I liked the passion between them.
Hi Ladies
I agree with you about the old Finn. I didn't understand why he changed on her when he got back home and why he took up with someone else when she left him. But I still found it a good read.
I finally posted this and one other book and I a couple more to do tonight. I am just so behind but figured I had better get to it or I'd never get it done.
