The book in the series focuses on the disappearance of the ship's librarian Adrianna Bennett, who secret mission was to find out the mystery surrounding her father's arrest and death.

She is first kidnapped, and then she & her kidnapper are kidnapped!  As time progresses, they both realize they have feelings, but Dante, a secret undercover police for a foreign agency, doesn't want to act on those feelings.
