Girls Night by Stef Ann Holm (MIRA)

berlin
Format: Print Books
Series: MIRA Books

Stef Ann Holm is a new to me author.

The story: Widowed Jillene McDermott is struggling to make a success of her coffee shop and she has no luck dating. Her two young daughters want to help. They write her a personal ad, but it is Vince Tremont that catches her attention. A successful true crime writer he returns home to rethink his career. Vince might no be ready for a relationship and a family, but he can't resist Jillene.

I really liked the story. Girls Night is a straight contemporary with no suspense or paranormal beings. It feels like a longer category title, maybe a Special Edition kind of story. It has lovable characters and a very realistic story line. I've got Lucy gets Her Life Back on my tbr.
