The second book in a two part series, this book tells the story of Alexandros estranged twin brother Kyros. Who accepted his brother's overtures to reconcile by attending his wedding and meeting his sons. After leaving the wedding he decided to look up one of his past lover's who he never forgot.
When he found Alice and she did not immediately welcome him he decided to rekindle the spark between them and Alice really tried to resist him but could not do so for long. Then he took her to Paris and they had a week of passion and fun. Then Kyros asked her to marry him and she accepted.
Returning to his Greek Island she soon discovered there was a lot he had not told her, including his wealth and that he had a daughter. Then he never responded to her questions and kept things to himself making life very isolated for Alice until she could not take any more and threatened to leave him.
This book was not as good as the first in the series but an okay read anyway.
