The Guardian's Mission

An intense novel with well rounded characters. Martha takes a hike to her family's cabin in the mountains to get a way from everything and to pray and think. Instead she walks in on a gun smuggling raid. She meets an ATF undercover agent, Tristan, and is forced to pretend he is her boyfriend to stay alive. The bust goes down but one of the bad guys gets away. Her life is in danger and Tristan volunteers to protect her.
