Hallowe'en Husbands-Harlequin Historical

Aunt Cheryl
Format: Print Books

#68-What a wonderful collection of 3 Halloween tales by 3 authors, this is a must have for anyone who enjoys historical romantic adventure. My only complaint is they all were too short, but a definite keeper to reread each year at this time.

Marriage at Morrow Creek by Lisa Plumley

Set in the Arizona Territory in 1884 in which Rose Tillson, her sister,Viola, and their father are the medicine show-"Tillson & Healy's Patented Miracle Elixir and Celebrated Panacea". Their driver is Will Gavigan who Rose adores. Does Rose's dream to marry Will come true after her sister leaves for her own marriage? Who is Mrs. Brown? What will happen at the Halloween Gala in town? A very good opener to this trio of stories.

Wedding at Warehaven by Denise Lynn

Oct.27,1117-Warehaven Keep on the Isle of Wict. All Hallows' Eve brings about many unexpected events and festivities, one of them is the unusual marriage of Brigit of Warehaven to Sir Randall FitzHenry. You just have to read this one.

Master of Penlowen by Christine Merrill.

A very different tale in which Arabella Scott is taken by Lieutenant Richard Ackerton after the mail coach she was a passenger in is vandalized by 3 highwaymen. She is taken to his old, eery home where he stays secluded in one room with plenty of light. The reasons for this definitely make this a wonderful read for this time of year.

Hi Aunt Cheryl!

Just wanted to check in and see how you were doing!  I've ordered this book with my latest shipments so now (im)patiently waiting on them to arrive.....

Hi Debbie,

glad to see you here. When you get this one, plan to sit and read, will be worth it!

Had a colonoscopy yesterday, went much better than I feared after hearing horror stories. But today I feel like I have been run over by a truck so plan to go back to bed as advised.

Hope you will be feeling better soon

I have never had one but I have been around people who have and it can be rough. Hope nothing serious is a foot. I hope you have a good book to take to bed with you if you have the desire to read.

PS This sounds like a good read.

When I get a little money I buy books, and then if any is left I buy food and clothes..-- Erasmus

Aunt Cheryl, glad it was

Aunt Cheryl, glad it was better than you imagined and hope you feel better soon and get some rest.

I have read the Medieval one by Denise Lynn (had to read that one first!) and am looking forward to the next two.  I like the idea of Halloween romances!
