Hannah's Baby, by Cathy Gillen Thacker, HAR#1218, Jul08

Hannah is tired of waiting for her HEA so that she can have a baby. She travels to Taiwan to collect her soon-to-be daughter. She asks Joe to come with her. He is a writer that does a lot of traveling and has a restless, wandering soul. Bonding over a baby occurs. But how will it all turn out for Hannah?

Thacker is an author that writes a very big story in a compressed style. It is a high impact story and deserved about 30 more pages. There was a very quick turn around on the Joe’s part, and a little too rapid tying up loose ends. It has to be a struggle for author’s who have a word count they must adhere to. They have to trim somewhere. I loved this story – thumbs up.
