On midsummer's day, Phoebe Bowler should have returned home as a happy bride, but she's been jilted at the altar. In need of some TLC she decides to turn to her dishy neighbour, Rocky Lancaster, but he has suddenly decided he wants to be left alone. But then she meets Essie Rivers who is into astrology, and also something she calls birthday-ology - according to which you can engineer how to find the man of your dreams - and that's when things really start going crazy!
By turns very funny - the scenes at the summer fete are hysterical - and then unexpectedly moving, this book left me with a real 'feel good' smile on my face. Highly recommended.
