I read this book on the train heading to San Francisco for the Romance Writer's of America conference.  When you're trapped on a train, a good book is necessary.  Hard Evidence was very good.  It combined a woman putting together a lodge while raising a daughter and a police officer trying to put back together his life and his son.

Roxanne did a great job with the children.

Someone wants the lodge to fail.

Who better to have as a lodger than a policeman.
