Hard Evidence by Roxanne Rustand-Snow Canyon Ranch Series #1-Love Inspired Suspense

Aunt Cheryl
Format: Print Books

Book #28- Little did divorced mom,Janna McAllister know what she and daughter Rylie would have in store for them when they returned to help her mother with the Snow Canyon Lodge. It had been closed for 15 years so much needed done to the lodge and the cabins which Janna planned to rent out. Another negative was that Claire,Janna's mom was showing definite signs of Alzheimers.

The new interim sheriff,Michael Robertson, and his son,Ian had reservations to stay there. Ian had problems of his own, having been injured in a car accident that not only hurt him,but killed his mother. It put an end to his promising art career which added to his attitude. Add to this,a shadow named Rylie who adored him from the start and tried to follow him everywhere.

Someone doesn't want Janna fixing the cabins so many events happen, but still she continues with the help of Michael. A buried skull, noises, food placed so bears would show up,a dead coyote, problem weeds, sabotaged equipment,an old class ring and a knife are just some of the things discovered.

Right from the start I felt I was a part of the family. It kept me wondering what could happen next and how long would Janna keep going with her goal. I was surprised when I found out who was behind all of the mischief and why,but also pleased it had a good ending.Well worth the time, plus there are 2 more in the series which make it even better.
