Very enjoyable book, very nice cover 
. Understandable that Brody wouldn't be entirely sociable with the woman who defended the man he thought had killed his sister, and you can tell he fights his attraction to her. Fortunately for him, he's smart enough to realize what he has to lose if he lets her go. Poor Victoria! She really gets the stuffing knocked out of her during all the murder attempts (yes - all)!
Looking forward to the next book in this mini-series.
