Margrit Knight was a bit nervous jogging in the park at midnight but she loved to run. She met Alban and later heard on the news there was a murder in the same park. Could he be the murderer and why can't they catch him? He's much more than he seems, in fact there's a whole fabled race of old ones she knew nothing about.
I thought her other books were really good but this was awesome. Like the cover says, "vampires aren't the only creatures of the night". Alban is a Gargoyle and there are others in this new world Ms. Murphy has built. Now I can't wait till I get into the next book, "House of Cards". Rating: Great - I loved it and I'll have to check when the third book comes out as I'll need it as soon as I can get it.

I have read both these books and enjoyed them both. The idea that the Old Races exist was a new concept for me and thought the stories were great. I am looking forward to the House of Flames to find out what new adventure Margrit goes on and with whom.

This was great to listen to, the narrator did a great job with the different voices. I'm looking forward to the next book which I will probably start tomorrow. Glad you enjoyed them too. I need to read more of the LUNA's. I have Robin D. Owens and Catherine Asaro's in trade just wish they were available on audio too. It's so easy to listen while I watch the camp kids in the pool.
