Hearts in the Highlands

If you like fast moving story lines--this book isn't for you.  What kept reading this slow paced story was my curiosity as to how Maddie and Reid finally get together.  After the mid point of the book, the pace picked up.  Then, Lady Haversham's and Vera's cruelty toward Maddie kept me reading until the end.  I was glad to see Reid "rescue" his lady.
