My Review:
Mmmm, yummy! This book was such an enjoyable read, it just made me feel good! I was grinning and laughing my way through it. The banter between the hero/heroine was such delicious, the sexual tension was built up very well. The heroine's self-defense mechanism of sarcasm and barbs was just charming and made her equal to the challenge of taming her bossy hero who was used to commanding his own way.
I loved the little moments between them, I thought their relationship evolved realistically, and I think the book really established that the H/h have outside lives and identities as people beyond their relationship. (We can see how their issues lead to conflicts that needed to be dealt with, so that they could happily settle down with one another eventually and get a HEA) There is a slight separation, where the motivation behind the separation was a misunderstanding, and that time seemed wasteful, but the separation was relatively teeny. (I was surprised that the hero knew what he wanted, loved, but restrained himself... I respected him a ton for it though).
Rating: 4.5/5 stars, passion and humour! What could be better? *grin* I'm glad I caved and bought this one, everyone was tormenting me with their glowing reviews and I couldn't wait for it to hit the library shelves.

ETA... about the BANTER
ETA... about the BANTER between the H/h... it was PRICELESS that the heroine's pet name for the hero was "hop-a-long". I loved the indignity of it! The poor lame legged hero.... getting called "hop-a-long"
ROFL
Thanks for caving Janet!
You're a SWEETHEART for giving in! Reminds me so much of me. So much as a sniff of one of Julie Miller's military heroes and I'll do without chocolate to get my hands on it!
I LOVED Cara. So much of her humor is me I'm afraid. Just with the distinct lack of a lame hero... darnnit. And all that stuff on the Swiss Ball came from my determination to get fit that year. I bought a Swiss Ball and thats where the idea for Cara started. I still have it. Its a FABULOUS foot rest...
Thanks for reading!!!

Aw Trish, I love your sense
Aw Trish, I love your sense of humour. There's not enough humour around!
I pulled a bit of a Cara myself this past year and have been dropping pounds. lol. I don't have a hop-a-long either though. Pooh. I worked a bit with a short girl who kept yelling "give 'er!" at me though. (never wanted to punch someone so badly)
Ha... the swiss ball.... You got a great book out of it, and a footrest too! Sounds like a sound investment to ME.
