Cara Thorpe had avoided Gabriel Taggert since the disappearancem of her best friend-his wife. Now eight years later she has received a post card that had gone missing from Hope. It was postmarked in an area nobody was looking for her.

Gabriel Taggert's in laws wanted him to finally have his wife declared dead so they could all move on with their lives. When Cara brought the post card from Hope he knew he had to follow the clues along with the help of Cara and Redstone.  Will they find Hope alive. Will Cara be able to keep her feelings for Gabriel to herself? Will Gabriel move on even if Hope is alive or will her death close his heart forever?

Enjoyed this book. Was a different concept with the heroine being the first wife's best friend. It works though without trashing the memory of Hope. Can't wait for more Redstone. Still need to get my hands on some of the older ones.
