• Mia finds herself wandering through a forest not remembering how she got there.
• Jack rescues Mia from being swept off a bridge when a rain-swolen river crests the crossing. He takes her to his cabin until she recovers enough to make a trip down the mountain. However, when the rain causes a mud slide to cover the road and the rain turns to snow, Mia and Jack are forced to hole up in his home in the forest near South Lake Tahoe.
