Her Only Protector

Sonny had to rely so much on God in the story -- warnings from "other sources" called out to her and some made more sense that what God was telling her, but she prayed and listened to God.  Gil never failed her. 

This was a fast paced story with a lot of action, and I couldn't predict what would happen next and how it would end, but of course, it had a happy ending.

I laughed out load when Sonny's dad punched Gil, right in the middle of a shooting.   Talk about unexpected!
