The Founding Father,(Diana Palmer) Big John Jacobs comes to town to court the daughter of a railroad ower.  He needs a wife and he need the railroad.  Gets advice from the Marshall.  A woman does not have to be pretty as long as she can cook.  Looks don't last but cooking does.  Ellen knows a good bargain when she hears one.  She learns to adjust to the wild west and to her new husband.  A great story to read of how a town was built and the people that helped.

Wild West Wager, (Stacy) A prim and proper spinster comes to rural Colorado.  She alienate all the eligible men in town.  The saloon owner has need of her experience.  His sister is coming from the East and he needs the house set up for her.

Snow Maiden(Burton).  Hired to tune the church organ the beauty from Russia is distraction by a dashing real estate magnate.  This is based on a Russan Fairy Tale.  A good short story.
