Bobby Dodge is back and now a detective on the Massachusetts State Police.
Because of his problems with Catherine Gagnon case, Bobby wasn't trusted by everyone he worked with.
Then the unit responded to a call to the now defunct mental facility in Boston. Inside a subterranean chamber they find the gruesome remains of several girls. There were many similarities to the Gagnon case.
The bodies were over 25 years old. When they had some names they released them publicly. One of the girl's was identified as Annabelle Granger.
Then Bobby receives a call from Annabelle Granger and the story gets really gruesome.
I had some nauseous moments reading this book, but I couldn't stop reading it, even if my life depended on it.
If you read "Alone" and you liked Bobby, then you have to read this one. If you want to read this one, then you MUST read "Alone".
