Book Seventy-four: “His Pregnant Housekeeper”, Caroline Anderson, Harlequin Romance, May, 2008, #4026, eBook, Adobe format
Beautiful English Seacoast Location – Perfect Story!
Consider the title, “His Pregnant Housekeeper”, then look at the cover of the book, now imagine the perfect story to go with the title and cover. That story is what you’ll find in “His Pregnant Housekeeper.” This story is unapologetically romantic and uncompromisingly emotional. The seven months pregnant heroine is living as a squatter in a condemned hotel annex. She has no money, no electricity, no warm food, and plenty of legal problems. She is a classic damsel in distress.
Enter the hero! The hero is a rich architect who is one of the partners in the hotel renovation trying to dislodge the heroine. The hero has been badly treated in love. After making a small fortune in NYC real estate, the hero is laughingly rejected by the woman he loved so he moves back to England.
The hero and heroine are ideal for each other. The story has a series of ups and downs and is always enjoyable. The story zips along providing a lot of reading enjoyment at every stage. “His Pregnant Housekeeper”, has exactly what I want most in a Harlequin Romance. If you like this theme, you should love this book.
“His Pregnant Housekeeper”, absolutely delivers on the promise of the title and cover art. Highly Recommended.

Romance
I haven't read a Romance in a long time. I'm more of a Presents type of girl. But this sounds like one I'll have to pick up.
