This is the second book of the series. The first book was Another Man's Baby which came out in March 08.
Jennifer Rose is a teacher. She is divorced from a man who has only negative things to say about her and she has issues with her weight and has trouble believing in herself.
Nick Tulane is estranged from his supersuccessful family and is considered the black sheep of the family. He has a secret that has kept him seperate from them. He also has a son who shows signs of the same problem.
The story opens with Nick having just found out that his eight year old son, Matt, has been forging his father's signature on school papers and will need to attend summer school if he wants to be in the fourth grade next year. Nick decided to hire a tutor instead for Matt's sake.
Jennifer agreed to tutor Matt if Nick would become her personal trainer and help her lose weight and become physically fit. Although neither Nick nor Jen wanted to become attracted to each other they were growing close. But all was not smooth sailing. Jen figured out why Matt was having such a hard time in school and then found a way to help him only to discover Nick has the same problem.
I really enjoyed the book and could understand Nick's point of view as to his problem due to having taught children with problems.
