This book had a very intruiging premise. I was excited to read it after checking out the blurb summary on the back. Perhaps I should have thought twice about reading a book that's number four in a series, because this thing was all over the place. There were plot lines that got introduced but were never resolved. There were other issues that were explained in great detail that had nothing to do with this story. There was a major subplot that pretty much eclipsed the romance for the middle half of the book. And then there were the characters (dozens of them!) who kept popping in and giving little updates on their lives, and then popping back out again. I know the idea of that is to make me want to read more, but this time it backfired.
While I'd probably take a chance on this author again, I'm not going to look for the other books in the series.
