Montana Teritory 1883 Noell had at 16 been in love with Thad Mckalin but her well meaning parents had him go away making Thad at 18 embittered and go off as a cowboy. Retuning home 5 years later, to help his parents with a brother. He stops a runaway horse that nearly spills the women in the wagon into high Angel falls.
