How can I forgive her?

Luke wants a family, he has only had one with his foster father. His mother was not a good one and he will have nothing to do with her. He begins renovating a home to sell next door to a widow and her 3 children. He and his dog Cooper make a bad first impression on the mother and the young daughter, Autumn. He watches this family and yearns for more than he has. But how can he have a family when he cannot face his mother and she is begging him to talk to her.
