Back Blurb:
Declan and Tori:
She was just doing her job, tracking down a nutcase who was stalking a young dancer. And then the unspeakable and impossible happened. She was bitten.
A newly turned vampire, Tori is alone and starving and she doesn't know what to do. But she knows who to turn to—gorgeous, mouthwatering Declan—a police detective who has a few secrets of his own.
Eli And Sarel:
After three long centuries of aching loneliness, Elijah Crawford, Hunter of the Council, has finally found a woman. Maybe she can replace the obsession he has for Torrance Reilly, the wife and lover of his best friend.
Sarel is a lean, red-haired, wild-eyed witch with a soul to match his. She has a thirst for justice, and a yearning for a love to fill the void inside her. Sarel has been searching for Elijah. She is here now, prowling his grounds, waiting to get into his house.
Sarel has come to kill him.
My Review:
Two very hot, very well written stories. Shiloh Walker is fast becoming a personal favorite. She has built up a world with amazing characters, and her own take on the paranormal genre. I just love her writing! The two books above were originally released as separate ebook, so I am going to post those covers, and review and rate them separately below.
The Hunters: Declan and Tori
My Review:
I loved this one, and really could not put it down. I was hooked from page one. As the back blurb indicates, Tori is a newly turned vampire, and the way she learns about it, and what ends up saving her in the end, is well quite delicious
My Rating: 5
The Hunters: Eli and Sarel
My Review:
I loved this one as well. It took me a little longer to get into it than Declan and Tori's story, but once I was pulled in, it kept me in! It was nice to see Eli get his story, as he seemed a bit depressed when we met him before. Highly recommend both these stories!
My Rating: 4

Shiloh Walker
good to hear this about this author. I bought a couple books by her for a sort of strange reason. I saw her keep her head in a madhopuse frenzied internet discussion and thought, hmm, if she pays this much attention to her writing, it's got to be good. Well, I am not sure that is a good reason to buy book but I thought I might at least try her. I'm not sure whwen I will get to the books, but your blog makes me want to push them up in the piles. Thanks.

Hey Merri!
Hey Merri!
I am so sorry it took me so long to get back to you! We had a vacation, and have been working to get my in-laws moved from California out to here, Minnesota. And now, finally, they are in their new home, as of last night.
On Shiloh Walker, this was my second book by her, and I loved them both. She has created a fantastic world, and pays attention to detail. And her writing style is very unique, a bit hard to describe...but I love it!!
Take Care,
Tammy
