Illegal Possession by Kay Hooper Bantam 1985/ re.04/08

Troy Bennet, cat burglar, DallasCameron, straitlaced businessman two polar opposites but the attraction is explosive. Entertaining read of two people trying to find things in common for a life together. A lovely, sweet romance that will have you crossing your fingers for Troy and Dallas to work through their differences.

Kay Hooper always delivers an exciting read, although personally I prefer her Bishop psychic thrillers. This was our July book club read but I would've read it anyway just because I love her books.

I found the story in this

I found the story in this book delightful.  Talk about two people being at cross-purposes and different wave lengths.

you could defintely tell

you could defintely tell this was one of her older works. Still her talent is there but you can defintely tell she's grown a lot as an author since then. I like her thrillers better too but this was a nice change.

I agree the

I agree the romance was great and I loved Troy driving him around and Dallas hanging on for dear life.

Kelley you hit it on the head amazing this is twenty years old. A few things dated it like using the walkie talkies.

I agree that you can tell

I agree that you can tell that it is an older work.  It is a reflection of live in that time period.  I ofter find it a nice change to the fast-pace, violent life of today.  When I finished "When You Called My Name" by Sharaon Sala I felt the same.  It's like sitting beside a bubbling brook  rather than a rushing stream but there is still an enjoyment for the story.

You're right and a lot

You're right and I thought this had quite steamy sex scenes considering the time.
